What should I wear ?!      "Mountain Garden Cocktail Chic" 

Our wedding is going to be in the middle of July in Western North Carolina. That places us *almost* at midsummer.Think:Breezy fabrics (linen, chiffon, silk)Comfortable but elevated fitsEmbrace color, floral print, and whimsey!What lets you want to play in the sun, but make it at a mountain garden wedding!Keep in mind that you will need to walk on the earth sometimes:Chunky heels or flat bottomed shoes are A MUST!Skinny heels are a NO.Who knows, you might even want to go barefoot for a bit :)

This is obviously not a room block, but for anyone who wants to stay at a cabin or lodge near the venue I would recommend checking out VRBO! Some of the homes are large, so if you want to stay with other wedding guests we can help connect you guys! This is a great option if you want to make new friends, rent a car together, and enjoy staying in the quiet mountains.
